Metro Bus Routes

Metro provides regular bus services to the Seattle Center on 13 routes. The routes providing direct service are 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19, 24, 33 and 74. Monorail –
The Seattle Center Monorail will have two trains available during the Bite. During the Bite weekend, the monorail will run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Westlake Center to Seattle Center on Friday and Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.  The last train will depart from Seattle Center at 9:30 on Friday and Saturday and at 8:30 on Sunday. The fare for adults is $2 for adult one-way, $4 roundtrip. The cost is $.75 for youth, $1.50 roundtrip and $2 roundtrip for senior citizens. Disabled passengers only pay $1 roundtrip. The two stops where the Monorail arrives/departs is the Seattle Center by the Space Needle and Westlake Center, 3rd floor. The Monorail arrives every 10 minutes and provides excellent transportation.


Carpool and Parking Rates at Seattle Center

Carpool rates are in effect Friday-Sunday at all parking facilities operated by Seattle Center. Rates are $12 (one or two occupants) and $10 (three or more occupants). Look for the Seattle Center logo to make sure you are parking in the least expensive spaces and to insure that your parking fees help support Seattle Center's grounds, gardens, fountains and free public programs.

Parking and Access for Physically Challenged Persons
All buildings at Seattle Center are fully accessible. Disabled parking is available at all lots. If a lot appears to be full, ask a Seattle Center attendant for disabled access.


 






Metro Northgate Park & Ride

On Saturday and Sunday, Metro will operate a shuttle between the Northgate Park and Ride, at NE 112th Street and Fifth Avenue NE, and Seattle Center, located in front of the Intiman Playhouse on Mercer Street. The Northgate shuttle will run every 20 minutes from 10 a.m. to 9:35 p.m. on Saturday and 8:35 p.m. on Sunday. This shuttle makes inbound and outbound stops at Northgate Park and Ride, Northgate Transit Center, 46th, 76th, 85th and 105th.  There is no shuttle on Friday. One-way fare is $2.

Alternate Route
Besides the major routes to the Seattle Center via the Mercer Street or Stewart Street exits off I-5, consider using alternates routes, such as Highway 99, Denny Way and Elliot Avenue.
