The
2008 Vines of Washington wine tasting put the
spotlight on vintages that can be found in our own backyard- Washington
State Wineries! Wine enthusiasts will enjoy wines from nearly a dozen wineries
across the state in a peaceful cafe atmosphere at the 2008 Bite of
Seattle™.
Located
in the Alki Courtyard and adjacent to The Alley, hosted by Tom Douglas, and The Bite Cooks!,
admission
to the wine tasting is FREE. For $6.50 you can enjoy 2 tastes and a
souvenir tasting glass. Each additional taste is $2. Taste wines from
Washington and discover the state's best!
The Canoe Ridge/98.9 Smooth Jazz Stage sits adjacent to the wine
tasting and offers wine tasters and sippers the chance to relax and
socialize to a background of contemporary jazz performances all
weekend.
2008
will bring another spectacular group of Washington State wineries to
sip, sample and savor! Participating wineries to date include:
Maryhill Winery, Saint Laurent, Amavi, Terra Blanca, Revelry Vintners,
Canoe Ridge, Sagelands, Hoodsport Winery, Stina's Cellars, Des Voigne Cellars
and Samson Estates Winery.
